Farewell to the Henfield Artisan Market
Henfield Artisan Market began life as a Henfield Community Partnership initiative in the immediate post-COVID period, operating on a ‘not-for-profit, community benefit’ basis with valued support from Horsham District Council and Henfield Parish Council.
At the end of 2024, it transitioned to a fully independent, standalone market while remaining true to its founding ethos. The mission was always to champion small, local businesses - bringing high-quality arts, crafts, food, drink, and a lively atmosphere to the heart of the village.
Organisers Paul, Audrey and Carol have now made the difficult decision to cancel the two remaining markets this year and bring the market to a close. Due to changes in personal circumstances and ongoing economic challenges, they are no longer able to dedicate the substantial time and energy required to keep it running.
While naturally disappointed to see this chapter end, they wish to extend their sincere thanks to every stallholder, visitor, and local resident who supported and encouraged the market over the past five years.
