Role Community Support Volunteer OR Social Media Co-ordinator
Description Access Henfield is a volunteer-run group dedicated to enabling people with disabilities—both visible and hidden—to participate fully in village life. We are looking for passionate individuals to help us expand local activities for disabled residents, improve physical mobility around the village, and provide vital support and information.

Additionally, we are looking for a volunteer with Social Media skills to help manage our online presence, spread awareness, and keep the community updated on our latest projects and advocacy work.
Time Commitment Flexible. Ad-hoc hours based on your availability for committee projects, village walkabouts, or digital updates.
Location Henfield village. Social media and digital support roles can easily be completed from home.
Skills and Experience General Support: Empathy, community spirit, and an interest in local accessibility, disability awareness, or neurodiversity.
Social Media Support: Experience using platforms like Facebook to engage a local audience, create clear posts, and publicise community initiatives.

Further Information Access Henfield actively works to remove local barriers by conducting Building Access Assessments for village businesses, campaigning for better infrastructure (like dropped kerbs, proper pavements, and accessible parking), and providing guidance on mobility, visual, and hearing impairments. Your support helps ensure our community remains welcoming and open to everyone.
