Role	Café, Kitchen, Activity Volunteers, OR Minibus Escorts
Description	The Henfield Haven is a vital, award-winning community hub providing social contact and specialist care for vulnerable or isolated local residents. We are seeking volunteers for several rewarding team positions: • Café Volunteers: Serving customers, taking orders, and making hot drinks in our vibrant community café (full Barista training provided!). • Kitchen Volunteers: Assisting our cook to prepare, plate up, and serve fresh, hot main meals, alongside general washing up. • Activity Volunteers: Providing friendship and helping run stimulating activities during our specialist Dementia Day Care days (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) and our Thursday Club. • Minibus Escorts: Assisting our customers on and off our local community transport, ensuring they travel safely to the Haven and back home.
Time Commitment	Highly flexible. The Haven Café and Day Care run Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm. You can commit to regular shifts or a few hours a week depending on your availability.
Location	The Henfield Haven, Hewitts, Henfield, BN5 9DT. Minibus escorting covers the local village and outlying areas.
Skills and Experience	No prior experience is necessary. We are looking for people with a warm, cheerful disposition, great interpersonal skills, and a desire to help others. Full training and ongoing team support are provided for all roles.
